Read More Read More Welcome To Veterans Affairs Advisory Board of DeKalb County Georgia Mission Statement To honor the legacy of Veterans of all wars and conflicts through the planning fundraising and construction of monuments that denote all Veterans sacrifices and protections of the freedom justice and equality that we all hold dear as a nation. To advise and make recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County on a variety of Veteran educational and commemorative activities to elevate the publics knowledge of the historical contributions of Veterans. To assist in the research projects of Georgia Veterans in media formats that will be documented for future use to promote patriotism and awareness of Veterans in our nations history. To support Veteranspecific forums that identify the needs of current Veterans in DeKalb County communities and recommend methods to address these needs.
