And ensure they have positive career choices in a wide variety of STEM disciplines. iUrban Teen is a nationally recognized program focused on bringing STEM+C+A education to youth of color ages 13 to 18. Youth receive hands-on exposure to a variety of careers that step them outside their current boundaries. Our target demographics are African American, Latino and Native American youth, however, the program is inclusive of all youth who fall within the Non-Traditional STEM Learners category, including youth with disabilities. OUR GOALS Increase awareness and knowledge of STEM+C+A careers and training. Provide mentoring and internship opportunities. Create a collaborative learning model for youth to continue to use in various surroundings. Create a personal development plan in an interactive environment.
