Previews start TOMORROW for the world premiere of Katie Ka Vang's SIXPACK, but did you know that this project has been in the works for long before she joined the Jungle as a member of our Artistic Cohort? The playwriting process has many steps: research, writing, workshops, and many hours of rewriting and editing, and we're proud to have watched the work grow and develop over the year. You can be a part of this process by joining us for a preview night. Previews are an essential step in the development process. Because it could be the first time the play has been on its feet in front of an audience, the creative team could still be making changes to the script, design elements, or acting choices. Because we want our team to have an engaged and excited audience for these dates, our first two rows are available for patrons at no cost. MEET THE TEAM: Ashley Horiuchi is also making her Jungle Theater debut in SIXPACK! Playing Pam, another a promising young volleyball player and best friends with Pam. More about Ashley! She is an actor and teaching artist based in the Twin Cities, originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. Her recent credits include 'The Messenger' with Six Points Theater, 'Secret Warriors' with History Theatre, 'The Buddha Prince' with Tigerlion Arts, and 'Troilus and Cressida' in the Guthrie’s Dowling Studio.
