Lil Buddy Rescue

Our Mission:Lil Buddy Rescue is an integral part of the Animal welfare and safety in McDowell County and surrounding areas committed to ensuring the quality of care and services through the establishment of standards and prevention. What We Do:I take in unwanted, neglected, abused homeless animals. On average, I care for 600 + animals in my home every year and transport well over that out of the area to a safe and loving facility or home. I do this with my own money and with help of many monetary contributions and donations. Many of the animals I get are suffering. They need food, shelter and medical care. I have successfully treated hundreds of animals. Our Vision:We recognize that the wellbeing of our pets not only impacts our general public but our economy as well. Both collectively and individually we are dealing with tough issues by taking advantage of the strengths of other rescues for our efforts. We will be look to for effective leadership and evidence-based practices to preserve and protect our animals. We will be known for our belief in the value of the human being, and the way we protect those individuals, our standards and the facilitation and delivery of both education and prevention of animal abuse and neglect to enhance our environment for this and future generations.
