This page is funded by the Florida Lighthouse Association’s Visit Our Lights.org State of Florida License Plate (CSFA 76.106) Our mission is to preserve, restore, protect and defend Florida's lighthouse towers, along with their material culture, buildings, artifacts and records to assure that the magic of Florida's lighthouses and lighthouse keepers will be available for the enjoyment and understanding of future generations.

Together we can help ensure the State39s remaining 30 historic lighthouses will continue to shine for generations to come. Hurricane Ian was one of the strongest hurricanes to make landfall on Floridas west coast bringing with it tremendous winds and storm surges. three of our historic light stations Port Boca Grande Gasparilla and Sanibel Island bore the brunt of Hurricane Ian39s wrath to devastating effect.
