Rural America Initiatives – Head Start and Mentoring Lakota Youth
Rural America Initiatives (RAI) is an all-Native non-profit organization founded in 1986 to provide opportunities to the Native community in Rapid City. Rural America Initiatives is a community-based, non-profit agency serving American Indian children, youth and families in and around western South Dakota with culturally sensitive family services, comprehensive child development, parent support and advocacy, referrals, and group mentoring.
