Human Kindness Foundation sends free resources about interfaith spirituality, mindfulness, and wellness to people experiencing incarceration. We promote spirituality, mindfulness and wellness in prisons and jails throughout the United States. The people we work with are often in need of the most basic friendship and support, as well as encouragement for their spiritual journey. For close to fifty years, we have sent free interfaith resources, newsletters and correspondence to people experiencing incarceration.

Human Kindness Foundation
Join us on April 4th from 7-9pm at the opening of Rekindling: Voices of Restoration and Resilience at the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough, NC,(437 Dimmocks Mill Rd #17, Hillsborough, NC 27278) featuring art from formerly and currently incarcerated individuals, including work from members of our Human Kindness Foundation community. Rekindling is the result of a long term collaboration between a wide range of local community organizations using creativity and art to promote justice. There will be live performances from NC Poet Laureate and HKF board chair Jaki Shelton Green, poet and spoken word artist Nick Courmon, and music by Changed, a band formed while its members were incarcerated at Orange Correctional Center.
