SLCC is a private, co-educational institution in the tradition of the Bible college movement. The mission of SLCC is to provide Bible-centered higher education for men and women preparing for Christian service whether that service be in religious or secular vocational fields. SLCC seeks to facilitate student learning in the traditional fields of general knowledge so as to encourage a well-rounded education that includes the sciences, the humanities, and the individual's role in society.
