Mission statement of First Stage The mission of First Stage Theatre company is to provide opportunities for children to develop social and communication skills through participation in the performing arts and to promote fine arts education through the presentation of theatrical productions to children and families in our community. FSTC meets this mission by providing meaningful opportunities and character-building experiences to local children who are interested in the arts. This is accomplished by producing quality shows with the help of trained and experienced theatre professionals who have a heart for children. Another goal of FSTC is to hire local artists for shows and events. This builds community and creates friendships among local artists who make a living performing and teaching
