Bootstrap Buddies, Ltd. was started with the idea of "People helping Animals; Animals helping People." Life with animals, horses in particular, adds so much to the lives of the people around them. Horses are strong animals with minds of their own, but they require constant care in much the same way as young children do. As they age, their usefulness may diminish but is never extinguished. The responsibility that come from caring for these aging friends are demanding but so rewarding. Horses, and other companion animals, can give anyone a sense of accomplishment and unconditional love that is sometimes hard to find. Bootstrap Buddies, Ltd. serves animals or aids in animals serving people in times of hardship or crisis.
