Special Olympics Kentucky provides sports training and competition & other services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. #ChooseToInclude Special Olympics Kentucky supports more than 11,300 athletes with intellectual disabilities in the state, offering training and competition in 15 sports. The Special Olympics movement unlocks the joy of sport to inspire people throughout the world to open their minds to human giftedness. The mission of Special Olympics Kentucky is to provide year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Special Olympics give athletes continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community.
