We will be sharing food tomorrow (Tuesday June 3) at New City Center for Healing Justice (3104 16th Avenue South in Minneapolis) from 2:30-3:30pm or until it is gone. Please stand outside the door and someone will set the bag out for you. If you have clean paper grocery bags to donate, please bring those with you. Please bring a reusable shopping bag/box/cart/something sturdy to help you carry both the paper bag of groceries we pass out and the extra produce that is usually available in addition. Feel free to wear a mask if you wish, and please mask or stay home if you have symptoms of viral illness. We are hosting a free community meal at New City Center and also delivering that meal to our unhoused neighbors. Come join us to volunteer or just enjoy a meal! Any donations made at the meal will cover the expenses of delivering meals to the unhoused. Please message if you're interested in volunteering any time from 12-8pm. It doesn't matter if you know how to cook--we also need people to prep, serve, clean up, etc. Ofrecemos una cena comunitaria gratuita en New City Center y también entregando esa comida a nuestros vecinos sin hogar. ¡Únete a nosotros para ser voluntario o simplemente disfrutar de una comida!
