UKUofL Basketball Game MVP Award December 14 2024 Since 2010 the Bluegrass Sports Commission has had the privilege of awarding the game MVP award to the most outstanding player in the Battle of the Bluegrass the annual meeting between the University of Kentuckys and the University of Louisvilles basketball teams. Lamont Butler was named MVP of 2024 matchup after scoring a season high and teamleading 33 points shooting a perfect 1010 from the field and 66 from behind the 3point line.
