On Monday, May 26, the tradition continues with the Rapid River Memorial Day Parade starting at 1 p.m. after the noon Flag Ceremony, crowning of the Memorial Day Queen, and the Grand Marshal selection at the Lions Club. 📍Events in the Township Park follow the parade: Adult Kickball Tournament Bouncy houses for the kids Food trucks like D&M and The Grateful Cheese Back 40 Axe throwing A beer garden and live music by Cory Williams and Chasey Gibbs At 3 p.m., the National Anthem and TAPS will be performed in honor of our fallen soldiers. Proceeds from the day support scholarships, the Honor Flight, American Legion, National Honor Society, Key Club, Backpack Program, and more.
