The Boulder Center for Interactive Learning at Dawson (BCILD – The Center) is an educational 501(c) 3 organization based in Boulder County, Colorado. The Center is building a scalable model, positioning K-12 schools at the center of the communities in which they operate. This offers students real-world interface and thus genuine opportunities to apply critical thinking skills, develop creative problem solving techniques, and interact with their environment in meaningful ways, enhancing their learning and contributions to the world. Additionally, through the establishment of a curated online resource, The Center integrates student learning, especially for those students in under-resourced communities, with the richness of professionals, universities, museums, and other institutions and organizations.
