The purpose of the Chaplain Program is to create an environment of trust, confidentiality, reliance and professionalism in which Police Officers, employees and the public can feel comfortable with the support a police chaplain can provide. It is the mission of this Program to provide another option for the mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of employees, and to reach out with care, comfort, and counseling to anyone in need, especially those impacted by tragedy.

In 2021 the foundation expanded their support to include chaplains from any State Agency Police Sheriff or Fire Department. We are now the Washington State Police and Fire Chaplains WSCF Volunteer chaplains provide a wide range of care not only to employees but their families and the public. The most obvious services the chaplains provide is assistance with death notifications.
