The mission of The Salish Institute is to improve the health culture education and environment of the Salish and Pend d39Oreille people. The Institute will leverage human and capital resources to initiate coordinate and support activities and programs that promote cultural identity and strengthen tribal communities. Learning from our Elders Strengthening Communities Empowering Future Generations The Salish Institute is organized exclusively for charitable religious education and scientific purposes under section 501 c3 of the Internal Revenue Code or corresponding section of any future tax code. .
