Great Wind Zendo Great Wind Zendo Your Custom Text Here Great Wind Zendo Great Wind Zendo is a nonprofit organization which promotes Zen Buddhism and other meditative traditions. From our origin in 2014 until the close of 2024 we provided a dedicated space for Zen meditation in the heart of Hendricks County Indiana. Beginning in 2025 our main activity is the publication of Midwest Zen a literary journal freely available on this website. Great Wind Zendo takes its name from the calligraphy by 18th century Zen poet Ryokan Sky Above Great Wind.
