We are Natalia and Alex Dodov, parents of Nickolay Dodov, who was killed in avalanche in Haines, AK, 03/13/2012. We are founders of Nickolay Dodov Foundation. OUR MISSION: Nickolay Dodov Foundation provides Free Avalanche Education to youth and all ages mountain enthusiast through "Know Before You Go" Presentations and NDF Developed Interactive Youth Workshops. Nickolay Dodov Foundation is part of a Nationwide movement to educate youth and all-age winter sports enthusiasts to stay safe in winter environments. Nickolay Dodov Foundation provides Free Avalanche Education through presentations, workshops and courses. In the last seven years NICKOLAY DODOV FOUNDATION has reached out with FREE Avalanche education presenting the avalanche awareness program "Know Before You Go" and teaching avalanche workshops to more than 10500 ski and snowboard athletes, middle, high school and university students, coaches, teachers, parents and all age mountain enthusiasts.
