Improving the lives of kids and adults through learning to ride and by relating to horses. We are an equine facilitated riding program that uses horseback riding and horse care to develop life skills for students of all ages, abilities and financial means. Our mission is 4-fold: (1) To provide equine assisted therapy for children, adolescents and adults with assorted mental and physical health needs. (2) To provide a safe haven for abandoned horses where they can be reeducated as school mounts and basic level show horses. (3) To provide financial assistance to riders who do not have the funds for riding lessons. (4) To provide economically disadvantaged youth the opportunity to learn horse care and riding leading to skills of empathy, leadership and appreciation for nature in a beautiful rural setting.
