It also encourages all residents to take meaningful action to help eliminate hunger in our community through volunteering, donating, and spreading awareness. THANK YOU for Showing Up – Because Hunger Can’t Wait! Last Thursday, May 22, we were incredibly blessed by the many who came out to our Special Cookout with a Mission. This event was especially held to thank the dedicated volunteers and generous supporters of our food pantry, the heart of our outreach. I was truly overwhelmed by the love and encouragement from each of you, individuals, churches, and organizations, who continue to stand with us. Your presence reminded us just how powerful community can be when we come together to serve. Our mission goes beyond meals. We’re feeding the body and the spirit. And thanks to your ongoing support, we’re able to pick up food from local grocery stores and restaurants seven days a week, making sure no one is left behind.
