Our effective, compassionate advocacy helps reunify families and reduce the number of children in foster care. We recruit, train, and support community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA volunteers) for cases before the family courts in St. Louis City and St. Louis County. Each case involves children in the foster care system who have been removed from their home due to abuse and neglect. Our advocacy helps children who have experienced abuse and neglect heal from trauma, progress in school, participate in childhood activities, and achieve the best possible outcome and a permanent home.
