Of 25,000 Jews living in greater Brookline, half are not connected to anything Jewish; no synagogues, no schools nor any other Jewish organization. Without some place to call their Jewish home, this large segment of our population (singles, young couples and whole families) may be forever lost to the Jewish community.The good news: The Chabad Chai Center was created and geared for these Very Non Affiliates. Our goal is to reach this specific market through producing events that are on the cutting edge, yet with a Jewish soul. The Chabad Chai Center is the only organization in the Boston area that is solely committed to serving this large and sometimes forgotten group across the Jewish spectrum. As long as the people that we reach grow in their Judaism and stay connected with any kind of Jewish organization and community, we've done our job.
