TO PROVIDE DIVERSE EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES IN THE FOLK SCHOOL TRADITION, IN A SETTING OF QUIET FORESTS, MEADOWS AND WATER. THE CLEARING IS A PLACE WHERE ADULTS WHO SHARE AN INTEREST IN NATURE, ARTS OR HUMANITIES CAN LEARN, REFLECT AND WONDER.
