Vision To be the preeminent contemporary visual art center celebrating North Carolina’s art and culture. Overview GreenHill, located in Downtown Greensboro, is a nonprofit visual art center with the vital mission to support and advocate for the art and artists of our home state, North Carolina. At GreenHill professional artists have meaningful opportunities throughout their careers to participate in a wide range of exhibitions. We provide economic support to artists through the sale of their art in our world-class galleries. Novice artists, from toddlers and young students to lifelong learners, can learn and stretch their creative muscles through our studio-based educational programs.

Last month, GreenHill presented the Emerald Gala, which featured North Carolina art, artists, fashion, fashion designers, education, community, and much more. Thank you to everyone who turned up and showed out. Special thanks to the tech wizards, photographers, videographers, the Tanger, our staff, volunteers, the gala committee, and everyone else who took part.

With just a couple of weeks left before Of Wings and Feet comes down on June 21st, we’re celebrating all things puppet in the gallery and the Shop. Our puppets have been dancing, twirling, and showing off all exhibition long—and they’re not stopping now. ✨ In the Shop, we’re spotlighting some incredible puppet-inspired artists: Rebecca Miles has been crafting for over 20 years, making colorful creations from puppets to purses, jewelry to jackets.
