Wounded Warrior Wave Riders Assn

The mission of the Wounded Warrior Wave Riders Association is to help wheelchair-bound veterans and veterans who continue to fight daily battles with depression, PTSD and other debilitating mental disorders break through the physical and mental barriers that sentence them to life imprisonment.We will temporarily replace their wheelchairs and nightmares with a 4-day ocean experience on paddleboards and traditional Hawaiian canoes (customized for lower extremity limitations when needed) that will allow them to self-propel in the gentle Maui waters where they can experience independence, fearlessness, happiness and peace of mind.We strive to provide a foundation to remove the shackles of the past that will be replaced with a future filled with hope courage, forgiveness, and love.
