And with that, we reach the end of the 40th anniversary season for the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra! Truly incredible performances from everyone! R. Carlos Nakai had the entire hall in awe with his unparalleled musicianship. The dancers from the Leah Glenn Dance Theatre and narrators performing Dawn Avery’s piece “Secrets: Remembering the Brafferton Indian School” were so captivating. And, of course, Michael Butterman and the Williamsburg Symphony Orchestra kept the audience on their feet with their electrifying performance of the New World Symphony. 🎻❤️ We are so thankful for the incredible donation from the WSO League from their hard work on the Gala!
