*** ADOPTED!!! *** Finn is vetted and ready for adoption! Finn is a French Bulldog around 5mo old. Here are some things that we will be looking for to screen his new home. Finn's new home should have mostly carpet or area rugs. He has a deformed front leg (no surgery required) but he does use the 'bad' leg as a prop. His new home should limit wear and tear on elbow on hard surfaces. His new home should have access to grass to play. He does like to poop on rocks, but he needs a soft place outside to wrestle! Finn would love to have another dog in his new home. FINN PLAYS HARD! So sensitive dogs need not apply. His favorite way to play is to grab the cheek of his boxer buddy and shake! Finn is learning "NO BITE"! Bulldogs can tend to be mouthy, Finn is no exception. His new home must have patience to help him understand that biting is not appropriate. Finn will not be placed in a home with little kids. His teeth are sharp and until he understands bite control, he is equivalent to a snapping turtle! Finn likes to go out with the pack for daily walks. Due to his "bad leg", Finn is unable to go for a 'normal' leash walk. His foster family takes Finn out in a doggie stroller. Finn's new family should have a way to take him outside with them, whether it's a cart or backpack. Finn wants to go with too! Finn will need to have his nails trimmed as they will not file down with normal walking. His new home must be okay with clipping his nails or using a Dremmel to keep them in check. His new family may take him in to get professionally clipped, but this will be a must! At least he doesn't need to be professionally groomed! 😉 Because Finn is very bouncy when he moves, he can 'urp' up after drinking water. Finn's foster family help decrease this occurrence by burping him. After he drinks water, just put him in a position where his head is over his belly and tap his rib cage - yes, just like a baby. This will bring up any air and keep his belly contents where they should be! Finn is crate trained and will need to be crated when home alone. He's still a puppy and working on potty training and chewing on things. Finn's adoption donation is $950. His cherry eyes have been removed, he's been neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccinations. He's ready to go home! Finn is not for the faint of heart, but he will make a fantastic addition to any bully-experienced home! He does have an off button. It's not on a lot, but there are times when he'll snuggle with his human on the couch or find his dog bed on the floor. I promise that Finn will make you laugh on a daily basis!
