Cardboard Box Ministries was birthed from Bobby Hayden, Jr.'s testimony, the bible verse Matthew 25:40, and a desire to help the broken find hope throughout the world. Bobby Hayden, Jr. spent 10 years homeless, addicted to heroin in Skid Row in Los Angeles, CA, until a miraculous work of God occurred. Since then, the ministry travels the world preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and going after the lost, broken, discarded, and forgotten people.We base our organization after this verse:"Whatever you do to the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did to me." - Matthew 25:40We are based out of Indianapolis but do most of our ministering in other cities throughout the United States and internationally as well. We just recently returned from a trip to Israel where we served over 3,000 impoverished children, with 21 events in 11 days. We sponsor the outreach event, Christmas Gift Indianapolis every year in the Indianapolis area. Christmas Gift Indianapolis is a Christmas Gift for the homeless where they receive new socks and shoes, coats, blankets, sleeping bags, personal care items, a hot meal, entertainment, hair cuts, phone calls home to family, foot washing, and most importantly, prayer. We gather organizations all around the Indianapolis area to come together for one common cause: to serve the least of these. We also spend that day taking special care of the homeless Veterans and desire to give hope to all of our guests that day in a situation they otherwise would not. Christmas Gift Indianapolis exists to glorify God.
