PCWS educates children based upon the educational philosophy of Rudolf Steiner, a developmental approach which emphasizes goodness, beauty, and truth from Early Childhood through Fifth Grade. We endeavor to build a diverse community that supports each other and works together to create a healthy social life. Our Faculty brings the Waldorf curriculum to students in ways that cultivate in each child a sense of meaning and purpose in life, kindness, respect, academic excellence, confidence, creativity, and a love of learning.Our vision is to develop thoughtful, fulfilled citizens who have the capacity to think imaginatively, communicate effectively, and relate compassionately. We believe in the Waldorf curriculum for educating the whole human being: head, heart, and hands, which nurture well-rounded individuals who will be successful in school and beyond.
