All of us long to be known and loved by someone, and to share important parts of our lives with them. We believe being known for who we genuinely are and completely loved anyway, comes from being part of a transformative community. What do we mean when we say "transformative community?" We have two things in mind: 1. Our church family community; and 2. The people we interact with regularly in the larger community of the NRV. We believe that loving, God-honoring community is life-changing; that by rubbing shoulders continually with other believers, we become more Christ-like. That makes our church community transformative internally, which by itself is an incredible thing. But it's even more exciting than that! When we invest in relationships with those who are still far from God, intentionally loving with the simple love of Christ, they are drawn to Jesus and their lives are also transformed. What starts inside is reflected outside! (see Romans 12:1-2) Who are we specifically? bunch of loveable, imperfect, and growing people who choose together to see the best in each other, cheer one another on, reach out to our community, celebrate, grieve, pray, love God, have a really fun time, and make Jesus the center of our lives.
