Combining a quality education with football development. LEAD MFA empowers Liberia's future leaders through quality education and sport. Monrovia Football Academy is the first school in Liberia to combine high-quality education with professional football training. Since opening in 2015, the Academy has grown fro 27 to 92 student-athletes, featured in the BBC, and been recognized by former Liberian president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf as "a unique and innovative approach to leadership training that must be watched." The Academy provides boys and girls, ages 8-15, from six of Liberia's 15 counties with high-quality academic classes, professional football training, good nutrition, healthcare, and life skills.

May 14—National Unification Day in Liberia—was a day full of joy and celebration at the LEAD MFA Campus. 🎉 To mark the occasion, our Athletics Department hosted a Parent-Staff Game Day, featuring friendly matches in kickball and football. The parents claimed victory in kickball with a 13–9 win, while the staff edged out the parents in football with a 3–2 triumph.
