Our foundation was started in 2013 by our son Jose Montaño Choncho while he was battling Medulloblastoma, an aggressive and malignant type of brain cancer. The Jose Montaño Foundation’s mission is to give from the heart. Jose believes that the more we give the less we need. This page will keep you updated on Jose’s fight for his health and the work of his Foundation. THIS CORPORATION IS DEDICATED TO CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSEDS. THE CORPORATION PROVIDES ASSISTANCE TO FAMILIES AND CHILDREN WITH CANCER. THIS CORPORATION ALSO INSPIRES CHILDREN TO EXCEL IN SCHOOL AND IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. YEARLY SCHOLARSHIP OF $100 IS GRANTED TO ONE SIXTH GRADE STUDENT FROM SOUTH BAY UNION SCHOOL DISTRICT. DONATIONS ARE ALSO PROVIDED TO CANCER PATIENTS AS WELL AS FACILITIES SUCH AS CHILDREN'S RADY'S HOSPITAL.
