We offer a wide range of services at no charge to the client. Turning Point believes that everyone who experiences abuse deserves a safe place to heal and receive the resources they need to seek independence and justice. Our Approach Intervention We provide emergency services and safe shelter for individuals and families fleeing violence.

On July 1, 2015, Turning Point stepped into a defining moment. When a Mecklenburg County agency announced plans to close critical services for survivors of sexual assault and child abuse, we made a decision that would change lives…we said YES. Turning Point took over both the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC) and the Tree House Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC), ensuring these vital programs not only survived, but thrived under new leadership.
