The Delta Chi Fraternity The University of Alabama Chapter Delta Chi is one of The University of Alabamas premier IFC fraternities with over 140 active members who are committed to the promotion of friendship development of character advancement of justice and the acquisition of a sound education. We are men who dearly value brotherhood and assisting those in need in the Tuscaloosa community. History Early in the year 1922 at The University of Alabama several men grouped themselves into a secret organization known as the Tombs Club. Finding that that close fellowship was impossible in this club two of its members decided to withdraw.
