Overview

Training and Membership

To become a Master Gardener in Loudoun County, volunteers undergo extensive training, typically including a 75-hour internship and annual requirements for tenured members. While a background in horticulture is beneficial, it is not necessary for those interested in joining the program. New members are selected based on their enthusiasm, willingness to volunteer, and commitment to promoting environmentally sound practices.
