Our Upper School Youth and Government students have been working hard this week in Richmond as participants in the Virginia YMCA Model General Assembly! We’re so proud of their dedication, leadership, and engagement with the legislative process. 🏛️✨ For those unfamiliar, the YMCA Model General Assembly is a dynamic, hands-on government simulation where students from across the state take on roles as legislators, lobbyists, reporters, and more. They write, debate, and vote on bills, gaining firsthand experience in how our government works—all while building critical thinking, public speaking, and collaboration skills.
