(THE SOCIETY) IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE RESEARCH AND SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXPERTISE IN MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGY AND RELATED SCIENCES. THE SOCIETY PROVIDES CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION FOR PRACTICING MUSCULOSKELETAL RADIOLOGISTS VIA AN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING. THE SOCIETY'S PRIMARY SOURCES OF REVENUE ARE MEMBERSHIP DUES, MEETING REGISTRATION FEES, MEETING SPONSORSHIPS, AND JOURNAL SUBSCRIPTIONS.
