The conservancy dedicated to restoring, enhancing, renovating--and reinventing--The Esplanade along Manhattan's East River from 60th-120th Streets. The mission of Friends of the East River Esplanade is the restoration and reinvention of this spectacular, though forlorn, section of the Esplanade from 60th to 120th Streets in Manhattan.

Friends of the East River Esplanade EsplanadeFriends is a Waterfront Conservancy serving the Upper East Side and East Harlem neighborhoods of Manhattan. We advocate maintain and provide environmental community programming on the East River Waterfront. We offer gardening fishing classes birding and waterfront tours composting yoga classes on the water and our signature familyfriendly live music concerts. Upcoming Events Thank you to our Esplanade Friends for making all of our Summer and Fall events such a success.
