OUR MISSION The mission of the St. Johns County Chapter of the Southeast Region of the USLA is to assist the county lifeguard service in decreasing the number of waterrelated injuries and fatalities increasing the number of successful water rescues and accomplishing these goals with increased safety for the county personnel. ABOUT SALA The SALA and USLA are nonprofit organizations whose goals are to reduce the incidence of death and injury in the aquatic environment through public education and high levels of lifeguard training.
