FOUNDED IN 2012, RTS PAINTED ROCK ACADEMY IS MODELED AFTER THE AWARD- WINNING VALLEY ACADEMY. IN ITS FIRST YEAR OF EXISTENCE, STUDENT ACADEMIC GROWTH WAS IN THE TOP 2% OF THE STATE. THE SCHOOL EARNED AN "A" RATING FROM THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. THE MISSION OF REID TRADITIONAL SCHOOLS IS TO OFFER BACK-TO-BASICS, TRADITIONAL EDUCATION BY PROVIDING A CHALLENGING, SEQUENTIAL, TEACHER- DIRECTED, STANDARDS-BASED, TEXTBOOK-DRIVEN CURRICULUM SUPPORTED BY INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNTABILITY AND HIGH ACADEMIC AND BEHAVIORAL STANDARDS.
