SWEET SNOWBALL 🐶❄️💙 This #HAPWoofWednesday we are reintroducing our big baby, miss Snowball! This goofy girl is a 5.5-year-old mix breed with lots of love to give! Snowball came to HAP when her previous owners could no longer care for her. Adjusting to shelter life hasn’t been easy, but a cozy bed and some extra treats have definitely helped her settle in. Since arriving, she has been a super affectionate girl, melting into everyone she meets! Snowball has quickly become a favorite among staff and volunteers, thanks to her goofy smile and loving personality. She adores people and shows her affection with endless enthusiasm. Snowball has even made some doggy friends too! She’s been a star in playgroup, meeting pups of all sizes and ages. She has also spent some time outside of the shelter through our Doggy Day Out program. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or jogging through the park, Snowball is just happy to spend time with friends! Check out what our volunteers had to say about her: ��"Chilly 3 mile walk this morning with Snowball at Delcastle park! She’s such a cuddle bug - so sweet, so gentle, didn’t pull on the leash once! Barked a few times at some dogs and birds, but overall she was great - tail going the whole time! Also, she is perfect in the car. Had to help her get into my jeep at first but on the way back she hopped in no problem! What a gem!" - Taylor��"Had a lovely day out with Miss Snowball. She is such a nice and well-mannered girl! She rode in the car very well and kept a great pace while walking together. $15,000+ TO SAVE MORE LIVES🐶💖🛍️ Last Thursday, we hosted our 9th Annual Designer Bag Bingo at St. Elizabeth’s Church, and what a night it was! Thanks to the 252 amazing attendees and our generous supporters, we’re thrilled to announce that the event raised over $15,000 to help animals in need! These essential funds will not only support the animals at HAP, but also help us continue offering free and low-cost essential services to our community!
