Middle school students from across Georgia recently gathered at Augusta University’s Jaguar Student Activities Center for the 11th annual Junior Model United Nations Conference. With a focus on global women’s rights, the student delegates representing 59 countries engaged in lively debates and negotiations at the simulated General Assembly. Hosted by AU’s National Model UN class and sponsored by the Department of Social Sciences in Augusta University Pamplin College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, this event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to explore diplomacy and international relations.
