Reflections of Manatee is a museum situated at the Curry Houses Historic District in Bradenton, Florida. We focus on the history of the Maroon Angola Settlement, The Curry Family, & The Village of Manatee. Archeology & the 19th Century also feature. To preserve the area around the Manatee Mineral Springs and educate the community about the diverse peoples who used the spring over the centuries, including Native Americans, the maroon community of Angola, and the first settlers who built the Village of Manatee around the site.
