iDYD Foundation Finding Life After Loss Healing Children that have been impacted by violence Identify Your Dream Foundation was created in 2015 in honor of Dean J. Samuel an incredible young man from Pontiac whose life was violently cut short leaving a young son fatherless. The foundation was birthed to not only encourage youth who have violently lost loved ones to SURVIVE but to also empower them to THRIVE. IDYD teaches children to identify the gift that is deposited inside unlocking the hidden treasure that brings awareness to life after loss through HOPE and PURPOSE.
