Market Colors is an online store & nonprofit that exists to create sustainable incomes for impoverished craftsmen. Market Colors is dedicated to improving the quality of life of the impoverished in Africa by working alongside established non-profit organizations on the continent to sell to an international market the handmade products of African craftsmen. Market Colors exists to provide sustainable jobs to these craftsmen throughout Africa. The products they make are purchased, delivered to the Market Colors warehouse in the United States, and then sold through the online store on the Market Colors website. All proceeds are reinvested in Africa. Currently, we partner with craftsman groups in five countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, and Uganda.
