Despite this, it has maintained minimal assets and no liabilities over various fiscal years[1].

The organization's activities are aligned with the broader goals of the Court Theatre, which relies on grants from foundations, corporate sponsorships, and individual donations to sustain its operations and community programs[2][3].
Philanthropic Impact
Donors play a crucial role in supporting Court Theatre's productions and educational initiatives. Their contributions ensure that the theatre can continue to provide ambitious storytelling and audience engagement, benefiting thousands of artists, educators, students, and audience members across the South Side of Chicago[3][4].
Recognition and Donor Benefits
Court Theatre recognizes and rewards its donors with various benefits depending on the level of donation, ranging from year-long donor recognition to invitations to exclusive events[3]. The theatre also acknowledges the leadership and generosity of its institutional partners, who are essential to its artistic and engagement efforts[2].

As we celebrate the Closing of BERLIN, it’s only fitting that we also celebrate the conclusion of BERLIN’s public programs! This suite of programs was expansive, multidisciplinary, and full of defiant joy. In just a few weeks, we collaborated on a curated tour of Potential Energy: Chicago Puppets Up Close, an Agora about Resistance & Resilience, a book signing and conversation with graphic novelist Jason Lutes (author of BERLIN), a communal arts activation, a post-show discussion, a film screening, and a drag king and burlesque show. We would like to thank our amazing partners – including the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, the Public Media Institute and Co-Prosperity, The Seminary Co-op Bookstores, the Jane Addams Hull-House Museum, the Film Studies Center, and Po’Chop and Switch the Boi Wonder – and all who participated. You are the reason why we do this; thank you for joining us on this journey. .... 📸 (1 -2): Tour of Chicago Puppets Up Close, by Antwonette Burton of Ollie Photography 📸 (3): Grace Needlman and Leah Lara, by Antwonette Burton of Ollie Photography 📸 (4): Ed Marszewski, Stephanie Manríquez, Jenn Freeman, and Kristen Kaza at the Agora, by Ollie Photography 📸 (5): Agora: Resistance & Resilience Strategies, by Ollie Photography 📸 (6): Dr. Evan H.
