A Great Time to Enjoy Greenspace For those seeking some fresh air, remember that all of the township’s 770 acres of Greenspace properties can be enjoyed for passive recreation. Fortunately, and with careful planning by the volunteer Greenspace Advisory Committee, staff and township trustees, nearly 90 percent of the households in Anderson Township fall within a half mile of a Greenspace property in the past 30 years. Mother Nature Shines in Annual Anderson Garden Tour Bountiful summer blooms, beautiful gardens and creative landscaped settings in Anderson Township are showcased during the Anderson Garden and History Tour, set for Sunday, June 8. Gardeners share the fruit of their hard work on the self-guided tour set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This free event, highlighting mature gardens as well as newer ones, also includes opportunities to visit some of Anderson’s historic structures including the Miller-Leuser Log House and the Anderson Township Heritage Center Arboretum.
