Each year Christmas in the City helps thousands of children and their families celebrate a memorable holiday season at our annual Christmas Party. Christmas in the City is a 100% volunteer non-profit organization that supports and mentors Boston's homeless population. Our major annual event is our holiday party for more than 3,000 homeless children. Help us spread the word! Christmas In The City is a 100% volunteer run non-profit organization established in 1989. Our mission is to support and mentor Boston's homeless families. We started out by just trying to make the holidays memorable for children staying in Boston area shelters. We have since expanded our work to include helping families make a successful transition from homelessness to independent living.
