Teddy, how aren’t you adopted already!? Meet Teddy, the sweet and playful Tibetan Spaniel mix looking for his forever home! Teddy is around 2 years old and weighs approximately 20 lbs. He has a very sweet, eager-to-please personality and has come a long way since coming into care. When he first arrived, Teddy was a bit nervous and shy, but after just a couple of weeks, he’s blossomed into a happy, affectionate dog. He loves to zoom around the yard and snuggle up on the couch for some belly rubs. Teddy is great with other dogs, especially smaller ones, and he loves to play and interact with them. He’s also a big fan of toys and enjoys tossing them around during playtime. Teddy would do best in a home with older children, as he’s a little skittish with new things and people. He needs time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he’ll be your best friend. While he has no experience with cats, Teddy is likely to be okay with them. Teddy is treat-motivated and eager to learn, and he’s already mastered “come,” “sit,” and his name. He’s crate trained, and with a consistent schedule, he’s almost house-trained. He’s also working on his leash manners and getting better with each walk. Teddy is currently on medical hold for neutering but is otherwise healthy, with the procedure planned for the end of March. Teddy would love a yard to play in, as he’s still in his puppy phase and enjoys exploring and running around. He’s made amazing progress in just a few weeks and, with a little patience and love, will continue to thrive in a home where he feels safe and cherished.
